Privacy Policy
Effective date: July 3, 2026 Website: ElectricalFaultCheck.com Operator: Utility Matrix LLC
Electrical Fault Check is designed to collect as little information as possible. This Privacy Policy explains what information is and is not collected when you use ElectricalFaultCheck.com.
1. Summary
At launch, Electrical Fault Check does not use accounts, login, forms, newsletters, comments, user profiles, analytics scripts, advertising tags, affiliate tracking, cookies, or browser local storage.
Diagnostic inputs are processed in your browser. The site operator does not intentionally receive, store, or review your diagnostic inputs.
Like nearly all websites, the hosting, security, DNS, or CDN providers that deliver the site may process ordinary technical logs, such as IP address, user-agent, request URL, timestamps, and security events.
2. Information you provide
Electrical Fault Check does not ask you to provide personal information through the site.
There are no account forms, contact forms, quote forms, diagnostic upload forms, newsletter forms, payment forms, or comment areas.
If you contact the operator by email, the information you choose to send will be processed through email systems. Do not send emergency conditions, photos of wiring, personal safety questions, or requests for electrical diagnosis. Contact a licensed electrician or emergency services instead.
3. Diagnostic inputs
The site may ask you to select structured diagnostic inputs, such as an outlet-tester pattern, cord length, breaker size, load estimate, or device indication.
At launch, those inputs are computed locally in your browser and are not intentionally sent to the operator, stored by the operator, or associated with an account.
Do not enter personal information into diagnostic fields.
4. Cookies, analytics, and local storage
At launch, Electrical Fault Check does not intentionally use:
- cookies;
- browser local storage;
- newsletter tracking;
- analytics pixels;
- advertising pixels;
- affiliate tracking cookies;
- remarketing tags;
- session replay;
- heatmaps;
- fingerprinting tools.
If this changes, this Privacy Policy will be updated before the relevant tools are enabled, and any legally required consent mechanism will be added.
5. Hosting, CDN, and security logs
The site is delivered through third-party infrastructure providers, such as hosting, CDN, DNS, and security providers.
Those providers may automatically process technical information needed to deliver and protect the site, including:
- IP address;
- user-agent and browser information;
- device and operating-system information;
- requested URL;
- referring URL, if supplied by your browser;
- timestamps;
- approximate location inferred from IP address;
- security, abuse-prevention, and performance events.
The operator uses this technical processing to make the site available, maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and understand basic infrastructure performance.
6. Advertising and affiliate tracking
At launch, Electrical Fault Check does not display advertising and does not use affiliate links.
If ads or affiliate links are enabled later, the site will update this Privacy Policy and the Advertising & Affiliate Disclosure before launch of those features. Some advertising or affiliate systems may use cookies or other tracking technologies. Where consent is required, those systems should not be enabled until a suitable consent mechanism is in place.
7. How information is used
The operator may use limited technical information to:
- deliver the website;
- secure the website;
- prevent spam, abuse, attacks, or misuse;
- troubleshoot technical issues;
- comply with legal obligations;
- maintain records necessary to operate the site.
The operator does not use diagnostic inputs to build user profiles, target ads, sell personal information, or make decisions about individual users.
8. Sharing
The operator may share or make technical information available to:
- hosting, CDN, DNS, security, and infrastructure providers;
- email providers, if you contact the operator by email;
- professional advisers, if needed;
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or others when legally required or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security.
The operator does not sell personal information.
At launch, the operator does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
9. Retention
The operator aims to retain as little information as possible.
Because the site does not have accounts or forms, there is no user profile database to retain. Technical logs may be retained by infrastructure providers according to their own retention settings and policies, and by the operator only as needed for security, debugging, abuse prevention, or legal compliance.
Email you send to the operator may be retained as business correspondence.
10. International visitors
Electrical Fault Check may be reachable from many countries, but availability does not mean the operator targets every jurisdiction.
Privacy rights vary by location. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or information about processing.
Because the site is designed not to maintain accounts or diagnostic records, the operator may have little or no information to search beyond email correspondence and technical logs.
11. Children
Electrical Fault Check is not directed to children. The site is intended for adults seeking general home-electrical diagnostic information.
Children should not use the site to make electrical safety decisions.
12. Security
The operator uses reasonable technical measures for a static informational website. No website or transmission method is completely secure.
Do not send sensitive personal information, photos of wiring, emergency details, or safety-critical questions by email.
13. Third-party links
The site may link to third-party websites, standards bodies, manufacturers, retailers, or other resources.
This Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party websites. Review their policies before using them.
14. Changes to this Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The effective date will show when the current version took effect.
If the site later enables analytics, advertising, affiliate links, forms, accounts, newsletters, or other data-collection features, this policy should be updated before those features go live.
